These are confusing, stressful times for all of us. As the coronavirus pandemic affects numerous facets of our society and the world at large, it also impacts each person in different ways. The disruptions to daily life are already being felt by globally in different ways. We are all feeling uncertain about what could happen in the coming weeks, as we hope to slow the spread of this pandemic. Feelings of anxiety and uncertainty are completely normal during times like this.

To man, who is a social animal, this lockdown has not only affected his daily life but is creating an emotional stir. The fear of either being infected & isolated or being limited within his home with finite number of survival supplies is getting on his nerves.

A list of questions arises:
  • What will happen next?
  • How long will this continue?
  • What will be the after-effects?

We are all clueless but yes one thing that we all can do is hope and remember this too shall pass bringing in good times soon insha’Allah.

In this meantime, let us strengthen our relationship with the Almighty by having firm faith in Him & seeking His forgiveness, and making this period of our lives a turning point towards our best selves.
