Thematic tafseer with translation of the forty duas in Quran that start with the word “Rabbana” meaning “Oh Our Lord”. At several places in the Quran, Allah SWT has been called upon with the word “Rabbana” specifically. Such duas appear in forty instances in the Quran and while they focus on a range of topics and themes which include tawheed, tawbah, piety, dignity and mercy, they all have one thing in common: they all start with “Rabbana”.
About the instructor
Ustadha Alimah Amber Zahid is alumnus of Mama Parsi and Karachi School of Arts, majoring in Graphics Design. She completed her four-year Advanced Program (Dars-e-Nizami), receiving the Alimiyyah degree from Madrasah Al-Aaizah in 2014 and is currently serving her alma mater since her graduation. She heads the Department of Special Programs for short courses and workshops and regularly gives talks at the madrasah on different aspects of tazkiya, religious knowledge and developing love for Allah SWT.
